Reply Relay
The domain is canceled.
The reply still lands.
When a domain is canceled, Reply Relay automatically routes late responses to your central inbox. Prospects who reply weeks or months down the line still reach you, ensuring warm leads never vanish with retired domains.
Works with Google Workspace & Microsoft Entra.
Reply routing
Three sending domains for one brand. Two are canceled, so their replies travel through Reply Relay; the active domain still delivers directly. All three land in the one central inbox you chose.
The problem
Replies arrive after domains are canceled.
Every cold-email domain burns eventually, even on good infrastructure, and when it does you cancel it. Prospects answer on their own timeline — often weeks or months after the first email — and that reply is addressed to a domain you no longer run.
Day 0
Campaign sends
Outreach goes out from northway.co.
Month 5
Domain burns and is
canceled
canceled
Deliverability has dropped. You cancel the domain; its sending inbxes are removed.
Month 6
A prospect replies
Their reply is addressed to northway.co — a domain you no longer run.
With Reply Relay
The reply lands
It is routed into the central inbox you chose, tagged with the original domain, so you can answer it.
Without a relay, that reply bounces or disappears and nobody knows a lead was there. It is not rare, either: roughly 5–10% of the replies we see arrive after the sending domain has been canceled — an operational observation that varies by campaign, not a benchmark. Reply Relay routes those replies into the inbox you chose instead.
How it works
Cancel burned domains.
Keep receiving their replies.
Choose a central inbox once. After a domain is canceled, replies sent to it are routed to that inbox automatically — there is nothing to set up per domain.
01
Once
Choose a central inbox
This is where relayed replies will land — usually a shared address your team already watches.
02
When a domain burns
Cancel the burned domain
Retire it from the Hypertide workflow. Sending stops and its inboxes are removed. There is nothing else to set up.
03
Afterwards
Receive replies in that inbox
Replies sent to the canceled domain are delivered to
your central inbox, labeled with the domain they were

Outcomes
The lead is captured.
What you do next is your call.
A reply that arrives months late is still a live prospect. Reply Relay puts it in the inbox you already work, with the original domain attached.
Respond to the lead.
Answer from your central inbox and keep the conversation moving. This is the outcome for every operator, in-house or agency.
Optional for agencies: forward it.
If the domain was run for a client, pass the reply on — a courtesy that costs nothing and is remembered.
Optional for agencies: reopen a relationship.
“Your campaign is still generating replies” is a good reason to talk to a former client.

Customer proof
What cold-email operators say about Hypertide.
“Hypertide has completely changed the way we approach deliverability. It's hands-down the most effective tool we've used to keep our domains warm and our emails landing in the inbox. The automation is seamless, and the results speak for themselves. If you're serious about cold email, Hypertide is a must-have.”

“Onboarded a customer that wanted to only target companies with over $5B in revenue and above. Hypertide.io is breaking into their inboxes for us. Usually, I give my whole song and dance about how I don't like doing outbound to really large companies—the TAM is small, it's tough to break through their spam filters. But this company has a really compelling offer with great case studies, so I thought, if anyone can break in, they will.”

“216,900 email accounts. 4,427 domains. Under 3 months. From zero. We brought on Hypertide.io as an infrastructure vendor—within the first week they processed 100+ orders across 135+ client brands: 1,700 domains and 85,000 inboxes, uploaded, warmed, tagged, and connected to multiple sequencers with 24-hour turnaround. Then we migrated 40,000+ inboxes between platforms while keeping campaigns live. Hypertide did it in waves across 3 weeks.”

Your frequently asked questions, Answered.
Which platforms include Reply Relay?
No. Hypertide is the infrastructure layer. It provisions and configures the domains, tenants and inboxes, then uploads them to the sending tool you use for campaigns.
Do I have to set it up per domain?
No. You choose the central inbox once. Domains canceled afterwards are covered without per-domain configuration.
How do I know which domain a relayed reply came through?
Each relayed reply is labeled with the domain it was addressed to, so you can see which campaign — and which brand or client — it belongs to.
Can a relayed reply be passed on to someone else, such as a client?
Relayed replies land in your central inbox first. Forwarding one — to a client, a teammate or a former client — is then one step from your own mail client.
