What makes Entra different from Azure?
Entra gives you access to the actual inbox. That means a stronger connection to your sending tool — fewer disconnects, fewer warm-up-disabled issues, and the ability to run inbox placement tests natively from the inbox itself. Azure doesn’t let you access the inbox natively, so you lose all of that.
Is this a subscription?
The initial deposit is not a subscription. It goes straight to your first infrastructure as a credit. For example, if you place a $50 Microsoft Entra order, it draws down from your $500 deposit, leaving $450. You only ever pay for the infrastructure you provision.
What is the credit?
Your initial credit goes toward your first set of infrastructure inboxes. We run it this way on purpose — it lets us cap how many customers join the platform at once, so every account gets the deliverability attention it actually needs. We’d rather work with the top 1% of senders and keep inbox placement high than onboard everyone and let quality slip.
What does a single Microsoft Entra domain cost?
